Here’s a selection of the projects I’ve been managing:
- A medical products company faced declining sales due to underinvestment in marketing and outdated product development strategies. By focusing on a new application area, revamping marketing efforts, and forging partnerships with patient organizations and key opinion leaders, the company significantly boosted sales in this niche market, illustrating the effectiveness of a balanced internal and external strategic approach to reinvigorate growth. - A company active in neurosurgery had acquired a competitor to speed up distribution of their innovative products. As a consequence, the marketing strategy had to be reviewed and redefined to reap the benefits of the combined portfolio and the existing distribution channels. A comprehensive marketing plan was developed including the potential application areas, product strategy, distribution model, branding, pricing, and a plan for clinical studies to support the marketing and sales efforts.
- Facing income issues, high investment needs, and a specialist shortage, two hospitals planned to merge to enhance patient care in their area. The merger aims to improve quality, attractiveness, teaching, and research, expecting to save multiple millions annually and reduce the investment needs. The project plan developed outlines a 10-year vision for consolidated services, digital transformation, and infrastructure modernization to address care demand, efficiency, and employee satisfaction.
